Description
Postira is 10 km away from Supetar ferry from which they were connected to Split. In winter time the ferries operate up to 7 times a day, in summer time more than 15 times a day.
The place is very picturesque with rich fishing and agricultural traditions of which we are proud. The island is rich in historical and natural sights (Vidova gora, Desert Blace, Zlatni rat ,...) There are supermarkets, post office, restaurants, cafes, galleries ... and besides sandy beaches in the center, the wider the area of small bays with sandy and rocky beaches surrounded by pine trees. 3 km east lies the unique sandy beach Lovrečina..

It is located 4 km north of the town, a beautiful olive grove, from which the traditional family Pavicic produces high quality olive oil.
